When I bought the recent Costco model, I was intrigued to find out what was hiding behind the Costco brand Kitchenaid model. Interestingly enough, it turns out to be a Williams-Sonoma 610 model. This got me asking what is the difference to the 600 model, and why does a 610 model even exist After taking my Costco model apart, doing a significant amount of research, and acquiring the 7 qt model and investigating it, I came to the following conclusion:All models, the 600, 610, 620, 6000, 6500, 7qt residential, 7 qt commercial, and 8 qt are essentially all the same models. They have the exact same form factor and with the exception of the 6000, fit the same beaters and bowls. They differ mainly in motor, transmission, bowl, and beater (that needs to match bowl size). And some models have plastic knobs whereas other have metal ones.600: This is the base model. A few years ago Kitchenaid changed the transmission case, that holds some sprockets in place, to plastic. This was changed back to

Hello, I thought I'd throw out a review for this espresso machine now that I have been living with it for 6 months with daily use.My background- I am not a hardcore espresso drinker. I had a $30 Mr Coffee machine, then when that started acting up replaced it with a $150 Cuisinart that served well for about 6 years. I used pre-ground coffee with those machines. I'm not one for straight up espresso or plain lattes/cappuccinos. I like my drinks sweeter- mint mochas, caramel, white raspberry, etc. I did work at a coffee cart for a couple years in college, though I was the first employee, so my training may have been lacking.I would say in general this is a great machine, assuming- 1. You have proper expectations, 2. The machine you get doesn't have a breakdown. For expectations, here's what I believe to be reasonable for this machine--It will make a mess. If you're looking for a mess free experience, you may want to double or triple your spending and look at fully automated machines.-You ar

My wife and I use these towels to clean fragile devices that have have a glass component such as my IPHONE , IPAD and even my eyeglasses. Better and more sanitary than using a wet towel. Using a microfiber cloth removes germs and leaves no streaks. I love the bright colors.

I'd consider this more of a 3.5 star item. First, my experience: I currently own an Anova One, the original rocket launcher sized unit.Pros: this thing is affordable. I paid almost 3x the price for my Anova It's not very loud.the jog dial is very fast, so you can go from one extreme temp or time to the other. The clip to attach it to a pot/cambro has levels, which is niceit's short so it fits in smaller Cambro containers easily Fairly easy to use. Set temp, set time, hit start. It beeps twice when you first start the process. First when its 2 degrees to temp, then when its at temp. This is a great reminder.Cons: The cord sticks out the side at the top, so you cant really set this thing up anywhere on a cambro. In fact, you have to almost put it front and on the left.Accuracy of temp is a touch iffy. I've seen it fluctuate a fair amount. Not sure if that's because it polls the temp more than other units, or if the PID controller isnt as accurate. For most proteins this would be ok. For ve
